What is Arabic Taskeel?
Arabic Taskeel is an Arabic on-screen keyboard with tashkeel controls and dialect-aware voice transcription. The web app runs in your browser, while the Windows app is under development.
Why is tashkeel useful for text-to-speech?
If you create text-to-speech or AI voice content, Arabic Taskeel helps you write the vowels and pronunciation explicitly. This gives the voice system clearer instructions and helps it read the words closer to the pronunciation you intended. The final result can still vary between voice providers and should be reviewed.
Which Arabic dialects are supported?
Voice transcription supports Auto, Levantine, Gulf, Egyptian, Iraqi, Maghrebi and Modern Standard Arabic. Choose the closest dialect when Auto does not reproduce your words accurately.
What do Free, Plus and Pro include?
Free includes the Arabic keyboard without cloud voice transcription. Plus includes 5 voice hours per billing month, and Pro includes 20 voice hours per billing month.
Can I buy extra voice hours?
Yes. Customers with an active Plus or Pro subscription can buy one-time packs of 5 or 10 extra hours. Unused extra hours remain available until they are used.
Do monthly voice hours roll over?
No. Unused monthly hours reset at the next billing period. Purchased extra hours remain until they are used.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Sign in, open Plans, and choose Manage subscription. Stripe opens securely so you can update payment details, view invoices or cancel. A cancelled subscription remains active until the end of its paid billing period.
Are recordings stored?
Recordings are sent securely to the backend and an AI provider only to create the transcription. Arabic Taskeel does not retain the audio recording after processing.
What if I forget my password?
Choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Firebase will send password-reset instructions to your account email.
